Description
When Victorio's Apaches surrounded the settlement of Alma, New Mexico, food and supplies became scarce. So the "respectable" townsfolk began hanging those they didn't feel were worth feeding. Town drunk Eddie Oates escaped the noose, but, along with three prostitutes and a simpleton, he was banished from the town, left for the Apaches to kill.
